Three Programmes Available
TEF announced three key programmes for 2025:
- TEF Entrepreneurship Programme
- Open to entrepreneurs across Africa.
- For innovative business ideas or businesses under five years old.
- This year, the focus is on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and green initiatives.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- IYBA-WE4A Entrepreneurship Programme
- Aimed at women entrepreneurs in Africa.
- Focuses on green business ideas or existing green businesses.
- Open to participants in Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, and Togo.
- Businesses must be less than five years old, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Launched in partnership with the European Union (EU) and GIZ.
- Aguka Ideation Programme
- Supports young Rwandan entrepreneurs aged 18-30 with business ideas.
- Provides seed capital of $3,000.
- Focuses on turning innovative ideas into successful businesses.
- Launched with UNDP Rwanda and the Rwandan Ministry of Youth and Arts.
